☕️ I’ve been busy lately… in the best way. ✂️

Well friend, the ball is finally rolling again. I’m back in the groove with new posts, new projects, art challenges, and yes, a very long to-do list.

My mom was here visiting last week, and we spent a lot of time in the kitchen working on nine new recipes. There’s some really good stuff coming your way. In fact, I’ve shared two of them below, and you might still have time to make them for the big game. In the evenings, we started watching the new episodes of All Creatures Great and Small, which we both love so much. Not only is it a wonderful show, but the landscapes and interior spaces are just beautiful. Honestly, it’s worth watching for that alone.

We also squeezed in some just-for-fun art time and made a few Valentine’s Day goodies together. It was simple, creative, and such a joy.

Aren’t they cute? As much as I love more traditional, polished artwork, crafty little projects like this will always have a special place in my creative heart. I could happily make things like this all day long. (And see those larger beads on the tags? I hand painted most of them, except for the horizontal stripe ones. They are so fun to create.)

Speaking of art, I’ve also started a new February challenge called 28 February Flowers. There’s a daily prompt for creating one piece of art each day, and I’ve been sharing them in my Instagram stories. I did save everything to my story highlights in case you missed any and want to catch up. My plan is to have a sale in early March featuring everything I create this month, so stay tuned for that.

And don't forget to check out what’s new on the blog this week. I’ve also refreshed a few favorite older posts from years past, so I’ve included those too.

What I’m Loving Lately

  • I ordered a couple of new books and I’m really excited about both. Sean A. Pritchard has a new book, Atmosfloric, coming out in June, so this one is technically a pre-order. I adore his Instagram feed and loved his first book, so this one is already high on my list. I also discovered a new-to-me artist, Glen Scouller, and his book is incredible. I love the way he paints, and the book is filled with beautiful images of his work.
  • This one is a bit random, but I also just discovered Goldfish Crisps. My goodness, they are tasty, and the crunch is next level. White Cheddar is my current favorite, but the Salt and Vinegar flavor is really good too.

And if you’ve made it all the way to the end of this email, you’re amazing. Truly, thank you. I always wonder how many people scroll this far. It doesn't really matter. What matters is that you did, and I really appreciate you.

As a little thank you, I wanted to share a small sneak peek of something new I’m working on. I’m not quite ready to officially share it with everyone yet. It’s still very much a work in progress. It’s also a bit niche, so no hard feelings at all if it’s not for you. I get it. I’m really excited about it though, and I hope some of you will be too. As always, your support as I explore new ideas means more than you know. Enjoy.
