Happy Saturday, friend. And happy March Eve. How is that even possible? January felt like it stretched on forever and February just zipped right by. I guess I can’t complain too much. It has been a long, cold winter here in Pittsburgh, and I’m more than ready for those warmer days that seem to be inching closer. This past week was a full one in the very best way. My mom was in town, so we rolled up our sleeves and got to work in the kitchen. We tested a handful of new recipes that turned out really, really good. We also spent plenty of time in the studio making art, including the sweetest little flower shaped candle holders that I’m kind of obsessed with. In between all of that we caught up on All Creatures Great and Small, went out to celebrate her birthday, and even made it to the local Urban Sketchers meet up. It was busy, but the kind of busy that fills you up. I’ve also been wrapping up my February Flower series, which officially comes to a close today. I’m already thinking about what kind of creative challenge I might take on next. And while we’re on that topic, I just want to say thank you to those of you who have been reading and subscribing over on Substack. I can’t believe it has already been a month. It has been such a meaningful space for me, and I’m excited to see how it continues to grow. Truly, your support means more than you know. The Cheeseburger Soup is cozy and comforting in the best way, and the Peanut Butter Chocolate Pudding Dessert is one of those classic, crowd pleasing treats that disappears fast.
