✨ The season’s starting to shimmer, and I can’t wait to share why...

There are certain times when I wish I had a pause button for life, and this is one of them. My head feels like it’s spinning (in the best possible way) with all the things that need to be done, the things I want to do, and everything in between.

Lately, I’ve been spending lots of time in my studio working on Christmas paintings. And it’s not just the paintings themselves. I’ve been making little abstract art ornaments to include with each one, punching out leftover scraps into tiny bits of confetti to tuck into the boxes, and stocking up on all the essentials like ribbon, tissue paper, labels, and paint. It’s a lot, but honestly, I love every second of it. I just want to linger here a little longer. (The sale should begin around November 6th, so mark your calendars!)

Between brushstrokes, I’ve also been creating and photographing twelve new recipes, dreaming up festive decor ideas, and making a list of holiday craft projects that’s about a mile long. If you’re a creative type, I know you get it. (And in case you're looking for some early inspiration, take a peek at all of my Christmas and holiday decor from last year. I just love how it all came together!)

All that to say, there's lots happening and plenty to look forward to. Here's a look at some new favorites and what's on the blog this week.

A Few Treasures Worth Sharing

  • I started buying these annual "Christmas with Southern Living" books a few years ago and I now look forward to them every year. This one is great! (I just found the one from the year I was born on eBay! I can't wait to see what's inside.)
  • The most glorious gold marker. The shine is wonderful !
  • Speaking of markers, Sharpie brought back their extra fine tip marker and I could not be more excited. I'm in love with this marker.
  • I think I need this candle for my vintage Santa mug collection shelf. It's adorable!
