Happy November! For some, the holiday season has officially begun! While I’m not diving in too deep just yet, I definitely have plenty of decorating ideas, handmade projects, and festive recipes swirling around in my head—many of which you’ll find on the blog, with more to come! Today, however, I wanted to share some exciting news about my artwork that will be for sale in the coming weeks. I’ve been busy in the studio working on small holiday paintings, which you may have seen if you follow me on Instagram. (Catch up here in my 'Christmas Art Highlight.') I’m thrilled to announce that my wreath paintings will be available this Thursday, November 7th, at 11 am EST, and the Christmas tree paintings will follow on Tuesday, November 12th, at 3 pm EST. (The bottle brush trees are still in progress, but I’m aiming for the following week.) I’ll have about 18-20 of each style, so quantities are limited. (Depending on the response I may try and make a few more.) Starting next week, I’ll also begin releasing some of my larger paintings. These will be posted randomly, as I’ve done before. I also plan to offer some of my quick oil painting studies at a lower price point for anyone interested. A quick note: all paintings will be available through my website at michaelwurmjr.com, a change from previous sales. Everything will be listed on the shop page (currently empty, but it won’t be for long!). I’ll send a reminder about 24 hours before each sale. And with that, here’s what was happening on the blog this week! Bourbon Pecan Pie Bars - NEW! Bring something special to your holiday baking with these easy-to-make Bourbon Pecan Pie Bars.
